Mr. David Mackie, President, attended the University of Alberta graduating in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science and in 1980 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He subsequently received his Information Systems Professional (ISP) designation in 1992 from the Canadian Information Processing Society, and the Information Technology Certified Professional (ITCP) designation in 2009.
Mr. Mackie previously was Director, Finance & Information Services with the Alberta Public Utilities Board, and subsequently with the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board.
Mr. Mackie is an avid wildlife photographer, amateur radio operator VE7XWK, and boating enthusiast qualified with a Day Skipper Sail certificate and a member of the Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons. In addition, he has participated with the Delta Marine Unit maritime search and rescue as active crew and member of the Board of Directors of the Roberts Bank Lifeboat Society. As a private pilot, Mr. Mackie flew extensively throughout Western Canada.
